Our work process

Crafting Culinary Delights:

Our journey begins with a passion for crafting delicious recipes that not only tantalize your taste buds but also stand the test of reheating perfection. Each dish is carefully curated and tested to ensure it maintains its original flavor and quality, promising a delightful experience every time.

Expect a culinary adventure with a rotating menu of unique recipes each week. While we love introducing new flavors, we also bring back some best sellers as repeats, ensuring there’s always something to suit every palate.

Order to Table:

Once your orders are finalized, our team swings into action. We meticulously source the freshest, highest-quality ingredients from trusted suppliers. Our dedicated chefs then work their magic in a fully compliant commercial kitchen space, adhering to stringent Department of Health regulations. Your safety is our priority. Each customer’s meal is expertly packaged and rapidly cooled, adhering to the highest food safety standards. We deliver your culinary treasures every Monday afternoon, nestled in totes with ice packs to maintain freshness during transit.

Home Chef Instructions:

Upon delivery, we kindly ask our customers to refrigerate their meals promptly. When it’s time to savor the goodness, the process is simple – heat in the oven or stovetop per the instructions on package. For those hectic moments, a quick spin in the microwave is a convenient alternative.

At Missy Jean’s – No Thyme to Cook, our work process is a symphony of culinary expertise, quality ingredients, and a commitment to delivering not just meals but moments of joy to your table.

About us

Meet our team

Allison, Laurie, and Leslie: We are not just a team; we are a group of friends and fellow moms, each navigating the beautiful chaos of raising three wonderful kids. Our shared commitment to family and community brought us together to create Missy Jean’s – No Thyme to Cook.

Chef and Founder

Allison

Allison is a self-taught chef with a passion for family friendly food, mostly to convince her own three kids that home-cooked food can be just as good as eating from a drive through. After doing a round of Whole 30 in 2015, Allison also discovered a passion for reimagining traditional recipes for those with food restrictions and has put that into practice on a personal level ever since. In 2021, Allison took a job in a commercial kitchen in order to gain food and beverage experience and learn to prepare food in large quantities.
